  1. Well… you have left a clue (Thanks! At the first glance I felt completely lost je je) I can see something like dots of densely packed bacteria within the epithelial cells so I guess it’s proliferative gill disease (PGD). If I am right I wonder if with such advanced infection, the poor fish got asphyxiated…

    Vetforensics – for those of us who aren’t familiar with slides of fish gills could you add a line to indicate the bacterial infection (or post a healthy version to compare?). I am here to LEARN.
